Our People - Groups

We are a friendly group. Our members have been volunteering in the community for many years, and they bring with them the ability to lead, to inspire and reach out to those in need.

St. Andrew's offers many different ministries within the church for members:

Christian Education - for both adults and children.

Lay Eucharist Ministers & Visitors - go to home-bound members who would like communion or just a visit.

Prayer Chain - by phone or e-mail to pray for others.

Worship & Altar Guild - help in the planning and preparation of services.

Choir - Voices are always welcome and needed!

Hospitality - After the second service is the Coffee Hour. This dedicated committee provides a light snack and coffee every Sunday, plan and prepare our fundraising dinners, plus cook-up other meals for the church and its outreach efforts.

Property Maintenance - Gardening, shrub management, replacing lightbulbs, and minor repairs fall into the domain of this group of volunteers.

We also have hard working committees dedicated to Stewardship, Evangelism & Communication, Finance, etc.

Involved with it all is the Vestry - a "board of directors" of sorts made up of elected members who serve a three-year term. They meet with the Priest once a month.
